Who We Are
MathsWITHPEPS is a specialist mathematics tutoring platform where experienced tutors provide one-to-one coaching with learners — in person or online.
Our tutors draw on their years of classroom and examining experience to guide students through every challenge, from building confidence in the basics to mastering advanced topics.
The platform also serves as a space for educators to share best practices, exchange teaching ideas, and support one another in delivering the highest standard of maths education.

Sylvester Peprah
Lead Tutor & Founder
Sylvester Peprah is a highly experienced mathematics educator with over 30 years of teaching experience spanning five countries across three continents. He specialises in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level, and has several years of experience as an examiner in the UK, USA, and Africa.
Sylvester\'s international teaching career began in Ghana in 1985 before moving to Zambia as an expatriate teacher. After completing a Master\'s degree at the University of Port Elizabeth, he lectured in Mathematics and Statistics at Vista University in South Africa, followed by teaching positions in Charleston, South Carolina, USA.
Based in the UK since 2004, Sylvester is currently a lecturer in mathematics at Suffolk New College. He tutors students across the full spectrum — from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level Further Mathematics, including Pure Maths, Mechanics, Statistics, and Further Pure Mathematics.
Sylvester\'s approach begins by identifying the specific issues that cause a learner to struggle with mathematics, then systematically helping them overcome those barriers. His decades of working closely with students have given him a unique ability to diagnose and address difficulties across every area of maths.
